Holiday Gift Show
Amador Arts (Amador County Arts Council) will be presenting a "Holiday Gift Show" at the Hanford St. Gallery from November 29 through December 30. Come and shop for affordable local art to give as gifts or find that special piece just for yourself. With nothing priced above $125 this is an opportunity to get the perfect item to complete your holiday shopping. At the same time you will be benefiting Amador Arts for their many projects in support of art, music and theatre in our community. The artists and the gallery have agreed to donate a portion of the sales proceeds to further this work.
Artists scheduled to participate include: Peggy Beerta, Ted Smith, Lucy Hackett, Sue Sparks, Julie Trail, Judy Day, Sharon Galligan, Lorra Lee Rose, Tracy Carlton, Pam Sharp, Annie Hughes, Barabra Wells, Anje Olmstead, Lois & Al Herrick. Also available will be selected pieces from June’s “Art X Inch” project including work by Amador and Argonaut High School art students.
A reception, open to the public and providing holiday treats, will take place on Dec. 1st, from 4 - 7pm, as part of the Amador 1st Saturday Art Trek.
Located at 291 Hanford St. in Sutter Creek (next to the Days Inn), Hanford St. Gallery is open from 10 to 5 Thu/Fri/Sat and 11 to 4:30 Sundays. The Holiday Show may have extended hours, so check on the www.amadorarts.org for that information. For more information you can contact the gallery at 209/267-8074.
